		<description>This story really makes me smile.  As someone who came late to an appreciation of history, the success of this small press is especially gratifying.  Its emphasis on local history is also heartening.   I think that Amazon has really enabled this kind of operation to succeed, as it has changed the distribution model for books in this country.  No bookstore in the northeast, for instance, is likely to carry a title on Charleston history, but as long as it&#039;s at Amazon, it has national distribution.  For all the people who slam Amazon, they forget that it has enabled many books to be published in the first place and many more to stay in print longer.  Amazon was the Tipping Point for bookselling in this country.</description>
